Atlas Comics Project :: Security
Security is easily considered the most important aspect
of any e-commerce site. While perfect security is not truly
possible, it should be the goal. Security should be considered
in every step of the design process. Often, design resources
are diverted away from security in favor of developing the visual
aspects of a particular site.
All of our project managers and programmers are highly knowledgeable
of security issues, and we require continuing education on the
subject also. If they ever have any concerns, we have an Internet
security firm that we will consult with.
Using existing SSL technologies, strict server-side programming,
and other technologies, we developed a secure interface for
all store transactions, customer account information, and order
processing for the Atlas Comics website.
